Recycler Visit

On Wednesday 20Th January 2010 Avonmore primary school was visited by the recycling company. First Ks1 had an assembly and then Ks2 had one. The lady's name was Hanna.She taught us about how we can Reduce Reuse and Recycle. Hanna said we could Reduce by using less packaging . We can reuse by Giving things away to charity, Reuse our clothes by giving to our siblings and reusing plastic bottles. We can Recycle: cans, Bottles, Glass, paper,Card and a few other things too. I learned things like Plastic is made from Oil and many more. After the assembly's each class went in the Hall at different times for Half an hour to play games and learn more about recycling.
