Wendy

On Tuesday year 6 had a special visitor called Wendy she was from the Chelsea football team and she came to tell us all about football from the 1930s. she showed us some photos from the pas, some videos and some artifacts. she also let us play around with some of the artifacts . we had old football shirts, football games such as blow football, football boots, football cards and apparently in he 1930s people used to stand up instead of sitting down to watch football that way people used to to sneak in and because they used to be so squashed some people died because they got suffocated but we all found it really fun and interesting.

Imperial Wharf Sensory Garden

Yesterday year 5 went to the Imperial wharf centre to look at some gardens. There were different gardens. There were three different gardens in total plus a big one. One was called the aroma garden, the touch garden and the sight garden we looked at. We also drew pictures of the flowers and smelt them some of them didn't smell good but some smelt nice. We also had a little break at the playground it was a good one but was quite small. There was lots of diffrent colours in the sight garden going hot to cold.

Checking up

It's a lovely sunny afternoon here in the library. The year 6s are returning the laptops into the lapsafe after having their ICT lesson. I was curious to see if this blog that Riad and I had created this morning was working. It seems it is. Am looking forward to learning a lot more about this blogging site! Miss Cotten
