We can reuse by Giving things away to charity, Reuse our clothes by giving to our siblings and reusing plastic bottles. We can Recycle: cans, Bottles, Glass, paper,Card and a few other things too. I learned things like Plastic is made from Oil and many more. After the assembly's each class went in the Hall at different times for Half an hour to play games and learn more about recycling. About the weather

Over the past few days the weather has been pretty snowy and icy. Yesterday we went outside and had a big snowball fight with the whole school and got cold feet,we all had to put are shoes and socks on the radiator to get them dry. At lunch we made a tiny snowman. Today my dad was driving me to school and we slided two times it was a bit scary but fun as well. The teachers don't know if we are going to play outside or not because it is so slippery. Have fun in the snow and be careful.

Wizard of Oz

At the end of every year Avonmore has a play and last year our school did the wizard of Oz. The year sixes were the actors and actresses and we performed for two nights in front of the parents and the other classes from year3 - year5 sang songs. Some of the year 6s and year 5s helped write the script. The year 3s were the munchkins, the year 4s were the trees and the year 5s were the monkeys. Some of the parents quoted that it was the best play Avonmore had done.
