You know those cool little flip animations that Google puts
up when there’s a special event? Well, there was one yesterday. As many of you
may know, yesterday was a special day that only ever happens every 4 years. No,
it’s not the Olympics. This special day is called a leap day. In February,
there are 28 days. But, on leap years, there are 29 days in February which means
we have one extra day at school (boo hoo!) and 366 days in the year. But, there
is one question that lingers in my mind.
Does it make sense that we call it a leap year?
