On Thursday 14th March year 6 went to the Bank of
England. We went on the Tube and got off at Monument and walked for a few
minutes. Finally we got to the Bank of England. The doors were huge and they
were really heavy for security reasons. When we went in there was a museum and
it was enormous. After we went to a room
that was like a cinema. We met a man called Richard. He talked about what money
is and how we use it. We watched a few
clips about how we use money and then Richard asked us a few questions. When
that finished we went into the museum and I actually touched real gold!!!! After
we had a booklet full of questions and when we answered them. We came back to school with only the items in
our pockets that we had left with and no extra coins! This trip was so
fun!!!!!!
