In Avonmore we have a new art history timeline display stretching from ancient Egyptian art to the present day! Here is a list of some of the periods it covers: Egyptian 320-332BC, Greeks 500BC, Aztec 1300-1519AD, Renaissance 1300-1600AD, Neo-Classicism 1750-18760AD, Romanticism 1800’s, Pop art 1960’s and Contemporary art-present day. There is also many many more. In year 6 we have been looking at Andy Warhol’s work: his most famous piece of work is Marilyn Monroe in silk screen. What styles do you like the most?
