Poppy: a sign of respect |
This Sunday will be Remembrance
Sunday, and Year 6 is learning about World War II. For those of you who don’t know
what Remembrance Sunday is, it is when people all over Britain take one minute
of silence to think about all of the brave men and women who fought in the war
to save our country. We are all wearing poppies to show respect because there
were poppies growing on the battlefield. We will also be taking our own minutes’
silence. Please try and take a break of silence for one minute this Sunday to
show your respect as well.
